Therapy for professionals in London

Something doesn’t feel right. You don’t have to work it out alone.

You’re used to being capable and keeping things moving. Yet behind the responsibilities and expectations, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed or unsure of what you need. You don’t have to wait until things become unmanageable to make space for yourself.

I’m Nadim Choudhury. At CityCalm Therapy, I draw on hypnotherapy and psychotherapy to offer professionals in London a warm space to speak openly, understand what’s troubling them and explore a way forward. I work online or in person.

Meet Nadim

I’m Nadim Choudhury, founder of CityCalm Therapy. My background spans careers development, senior leadership and work with financial services professionals. I understand how closely work can become tied to identity, security and self-worth.

I offer a warm, straightforward space to explore what is happening behind the pressure. You might want to understand persistent worry, reconsider your relationship with work , family or relationships issues or speak about feelings you rarely share elsewhere.

I have trained with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and on the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) training path for hypno-psychotherapists and hold a foundation in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with the Association of Group and Individual Psychotherapists

I hold a Master’s in Organisational Psychology and Coaching from Birkbeck, University of London and first degree in Economics from The University of Manchester. My careers and leadership experience is separate from my clinical training; both inform my understanding of professional life.

Support for the person behind the role

Start with a free 30-minute consultation. Individual sessions are £95 for 60 minutes, online or in person by arrangement.

To enquire, email citycalmtherapy@gmail.com or use the form below. There is no obligation to book further sessions.

Anxiety

A busy mind, persistent self-doubt or the feeling that you cannot switch off. Perhaps you replay meetings, worry about mistakes or find that work is affecting your sleep and relationships.

We can explore the expectations you carry, how you respond to pressure and what makes it difficult to set limits.

Burnout and career pressure

You may feel depleted, detached or caught in a role that has started to cost too much. There is space to consider what has become unsustainable and what matters to you now.

You do not need to arrive with a decision about leaving your job or changing career.

Men’s issues

Questions about success, getting older, personal relationships and identity can be difficult to discuss when you are used to being the person who copes.

You can speak openly about family or relationship issues, loneliness, cultural expectations, sexuality or a sense that life has become smaller than you expected. Men of different backgrounds and sexualities are welcome.

Concerns about how you cope

If alcohol or drug use is worrying you, you can raise it in the consultation. We will consider suitable support, including specialist help where appropriate.

CityCalm does not provide medical addiction treatment or detoxification.

How we work together

We begin with a conversation about what is happening in your life and what you would like to understand or change. My approach is shaped around your circumstances, and we will review how the sessions are going.

Hypnotherapy can involve focused attention, guided relaxation and imagery that we discuss together. You remain in control, can stop at any point and do not have to use hypnosis in every session.

The introductory consultation is a chance to ask questions and consider whether my approach fits your needs. There is no fixed timetable or promise of a particular result.

Start with a conversation

Considering hypnotherapy? Send a short message to arrange a free 30-minute consultation. We can discuss what brings you here, ask questions and consider whether working together feels right.

You do not need to share your full history in an enquiry. A few lines are enough to begin.

Email citycalmtherapy@gmail.com or call 07590 042632. Please mention any particular arrangements I should follow when contacting you.

Please avoid sending detailed medical or sensitive personal information through this form. Messages are not monitored continuously; this is not an emergency service.
